Objective and Modules
The Seminar is designed to assist educators in comprehending the methodology behind crafting both fiction and documentary films. Its goal is to equip them with fundamental knowledge to facilitate the production of their amateur films in collaboration with their students.
Modules
In the initial module, participants will immerse themselves in the fundamental elements of script development, catering to both fiction and documentary film genres. They will glean insights into the guiding principles that underpin script creation for each unique category. Moreover, this module will provide comprehensive guidance on the craft of constructing fictional characters, amplifying participants' proficiency in conjuring compelling and genuine personas that animate their narratives.
Transitioning into the second volume, the spotlight will be on the art of directing. This segment will place special emphasis on refining team communication, honing the subtleties of acting performances, and mastering the intricate art of conveying precise directorial instructions. This module aims to nurture a well-rounded understanding of how to orchestrate cohesive and engaging on-screen performances.
As the journey unfolds into the third module, participants will embark on an immersive exploration of the technical facets of camera shooting techniques. Beyond delving into the mechanics of camera operation, this segment will traverse the terrain of photography direction, the intricacies of lighting, and the methods for capturing pristine sound. Additionally, the module will delve into the theoretical underpinnings of framing and imagery, unveiling the nuanced symbolism and expressive potential found within meticulously composed visuals.
In the culminating module, attention turns to the post-production phase. This stage commences with meticulous management of the amassed footage. Participants will be acquainted with various video editing applications and will delve into the foundational principles of film editing.
